The Da Vinci Code: Code of Love

Just finished reading the book last night and was moved to tears when Sophie Neveu finally found her long lost family. She was lost before and now found her true self. What greater joy could there be in this meaningless life! On a brighter note, she was able to start appreciating Robert Langdon as a man and the seed of love begin to geminate inside her heart. A simple woman's admiration for her man. There was a possiblility of love, dream and hope. Under what worst condition could two poor fellows first meet after the exile from Garden of Eden. One out of love and the other one just lost her loved one. There is only one thing left in this empty life, one way to go and one truth to find out. Who was there to tell whether it was The way, The truth and The life Jesus had proclaimed? Oh! God be with us.

"My hope for The Da Vinci Code was, in addition to entertaining people, that it might serve as an open door for readers to begin their own explorations and rekindle their interest in topics of faith." Dan Brown wrote.

What a noble thought and intention!

"Many church officials are celebrating The Da Vinci Code because it has sparked renewed interest in important topics of faith and Church history. It is important to remember that a reader does not have to agree with every word in the novel to use the book as a positive catalyst for introspection and exploration of our faith." Dan Brown wrote.

Yes, our faith.

"The Da Vinvi Code is a novel and therefore a work of fiction. While the book's characters and their actions are obviously not real, the artwork, architecture, documents, and secret rituals depicted in this novel all exist." Dan Brown wrote.

A novel, read it; a movie, watch it.It is not a sin to be entertained and to be found by the truth. To understand the whole truth and not to be misunderstood.

So what is there to be afraid of? Didn't Jesus Christ say: " I 'm the way, the truth and the life." Follow the way, seek the truth, live the life!

What amazed me most was after the truth revealed, there was still love, hope and good faith. A date. A good ending and a new beginning. A new life. Isn't it Jesus Christ's mission of salvation - to save life, promise abandunce and endorse significance?

To me,The Da Vinci code is therefore a code of love. She /He who decodes it, lives it well.

May God bless us all.

Your long grey hairs
Combed smooth my life
My grateful shadow
Treading by
Deeply moved to tears...

Happy Mother's Day!

對不起
-----
